Position Summary

Reporting to the Guest Service Manager, the Guest Service Agent Supervisor will supervise our Guest Service Agents and host creative training events. The successful incumbent will also be responsible for communicating with management to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring the guest service department runs smoothly
  • Ensure guest complaints are addressed and handled professionally
  • Help with the creation and assessment of guest service reports
  • Complete basic accounting tasks such as reconciling accounts and business transactions
  • Work with management to establish department goals and objectives
  • Handle guest compensation and unit scheduling for the Guest (pick-up time scheduling)
  • Prepare and process guest paperwork, rental agreements and accident claims
  • Ensure timely input of payroll information in the Guest Service Manager's absence
  • Work with management to determine staffing levels and participate in performance management, onboarding and terminating staff
  • Periodically monitor interactions of Guest Service Agents with Guests to ensure adequate quality control
  • Ensure the station is stocked with reference material (e.g. maps and information pamphets) to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Train Cast members in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Market available training and provide necessary information about training sessions
  • Analyze e-Learning completion assessments and ensure Cast members are completing their assigned training
  • Determine the impact of all assigned training and gather feedback from trainees after each training session
  • Host train-the trainer sessions for managment
  • Research and recommend new training methods
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to instruct Cast members and Guests on the safe operation of driving large vehicles and using RV appliances and components
  • Extensive Guest/Customer service experience
  • First aid training will be a strong asset
  • Must possess leadership skills to lead, manage and train others
  • Previous experience in training groups of individuals and supervising a staff of 10 plus
  • Must be computer literate (comfortable usng word processing and familiar with iPads and other software programs)
  • Completion of College or technical training
  • Previous supervisor experience working in a hotel, airline or tourism-related business is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role in a travel and tourism environment
  • Fluency in both German and English is preferred
  • Training in international communications will be a strong asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Professional, responsive and positive work attitude is essential
  • Meticulous records maintenance skills
  • Ability to respond and adapt quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff
